Client Portfolio - Britanny Ferries
For the third consecutive year, Trademark Clothing has been invited to supply the corporate clothing requirements for the male administration, operations and management staff of the UK´s premier cross-channel ferry company, Brittany Ferries.
Located in Plymouth, Poole and Portsmouth, Brittany Ferries carry some 2.5 million passengers to and from the southern shores of England every year, servicing 5 ports in France and Spain, with over 95 male staff across three regional offices.
Brittany´s previous corporate suits and office staff wear were dry-clean only and lacking in style and performance characteristics. Trademark Clothing´s solution was to supply a range of top-quality washable formal wear from Greiff of Germany, for which Trademark Clothing are exclusive distributors in the UK.
The new corporate suits designed and manufactured for Brittany Ferries all feature a modern cut and superbly wearable easy-care fabrics, as well as innovative features such as anti-odour linings, zipped internal security pockets and a radiation-limiting mobile telephone pocket.
The suits were 'tax-tabbed' by applying a tiny embroidered version of the company´s double wave logo, in subtle contrasting grey threads, to sleeve ends and pocket flaps. The overall corporate look was then completed with white shirts which were 'self embroidered' in white thread, a corporate woven tie and leather belts featuring laser engraved metal buckles. Trademark also provided a smart grey sweater with self embroidered logo to compliment and coordinate the other items for a more casual look in the office.
As well as looking and feeling a great deal smarter in their new formal wear, Chrissie Hudson, Uniform Administrator of Brittany Ferries, estimates that the company has saved in excess of £700 in dry cleaning vouchers (previously issued to staff), in the three years to date that Trademark Clothing have been supplying their corporate staff wear.
