Client Portfolio - Churcher’s College
Churcher’s is a top level independent school, conveniently situated directly opposite our premises, here in Petersfield Hampshire. Their first requirement was uniform, but not for the pupils – for the staff! Churcher’s wanted their maintenance and support team to look the part and we were asked to provide co-ordinated polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, knitted hats, cargo shorts, stretch chino’s, jackets and hi-viz bibs, all in the school’s uniform blue and embroidered or printed with the Churcher’s College crest.
Once the staff were sorted it was time to look at what the children needed. Churcher’s has a second site in Liphook Hampshire for their junior school and Trademark Clothing were asked to provide white button-down collar shirts with the school crest embroidered directly onto the shirt pocket. As this is not possible to do on an off-the-peg shirt, we manufactured the shirts from scratch in one of our specialist factories, so that Churcher’s received exactly what they wanted. Some striped hockey socks, sports holdalls and sweatshirts were next on the list and we were even asked to embroider some equestrian saddle cloths with an enlarged version of the school crest!
A rough translation of the school’s latin motto ‘Credita Caelo’ is “Entrusted to Heaven”. We are delighted that Churcher’s have ‘entrusted’ us with their embroidered clothing requirements and, whilst we wouldn’t quite see ourselves as angels or gods, we do like to think we can provide an out of this world service!
